Production Machine Operator
Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in operating production and test equipment. You will monitor processes and recommend improvements to ensure efficiency and compliance with company safety policies. Your responsibilities will include maintaining accurate production and equipment operation records, performing tests and measurements on parts to ensure product quality, and interfacing with quality assurance teams.

ResponsibilitiesOperate production and test equipment.Monitor and recommend improvements to the area as needed.Comply with company and area safety policies and practices.Maintain accurate production records and equipment operation records.Perform tests and measurements on parts to ensure product quality.Interface with quality assurance to ensure product quality.Assist in picking, transporting, and exchanging materials, supplies, and parts.Inspect production equipment daily.Support and foster active participation in corporate values and comply with the Management Systems.Participate in on-the-job and specialized training as required.Handle hazardous materials and samples.Ensure the safe transport of hazardous materials and gas cylinders.Operate basic hand and power tools.Essential SkillsMachine operation experience.Injection molding experience.Assembly and molding skills.Experience with stamping production lines.Quality control knowledge.Troubleshooting skills.General labor experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to use computers and touch screen devices.Experience in production or a combination of relevant skills.Familiarity with the metric system.Why Work Here?

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tualatin, Oregon.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $20.17/hr.
