Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Production Machine Operator to join their team. As a Production Machine Operator, you will be part of the operations team supporting quality production processes. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Production Machine Operator
**Location:** Owatonna, MN
**Pay Range:** $18 per hour
**Shift:** 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM (Monday to Thursday)
**What's the Job?**
+ Operate all production and processing equipment efficiently while adhering to customer specifications and quality standards.
+ Document all raw materials, machine operations, and finished goods in batch records accurately.
+ Adjust machine settings to optimize production and identify any operational issues promptly.
+ Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety policies while maintaining a clean work environment.
+ Assist in product formulation by accurately measuring and mixing raw materials according to specifications.
**What's Needed?**
+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required.
+ Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write basic correspondence.
+ Basic math skills and the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, with assistance for heavier items.
+ Previous forklift experience is preferred; candidates must pass a written test for certification.
+ Basic computer skills are preferred to assist in documentation and reporting.
