As a PPC Assistant (Production Planning and Control Assistant), you will support the planning, scheduling, and monitoring of production orders, ensuring compliance with established plans and the optimization of available resources. You will work closely with the PPC team, supervisors, and other operational areas to ensure production goals are met in terms of time, cost, and quality. Reporting directly to the Production Planning and Control Coordinator, as part of the team for our manufacturing plant.
ResponsibilitiesSupport the preparation, updating, and control of daily and weekly production schedules and shopfloor monitoring related to orders, materials, and inventory.Follow up on the execution of production orders, verifying progress in SAP or assigned control systems.Monitor compliance with key performance indicators (production, scrap, efficiency, deliveries).Manage and keep updated the documentation of orders and PPC reports.Assist in coordinating with plant supervisors to meet plans and necessary adjustments.Record incidents, deviations, and causes affecting scheduling, proposing improvement alternatives.Provide support in controlling inventories of work in process and finished products.Perform periodic material cycle counts on the production floor to ensure inventory accuracy.Physically validate production orders and counts against system records to guarantee consistency.Collaborate with the team on continuous improvement projects related to production planning and control.Generate and consolidate reports on production tracking, deliveries, and efficiency.Ensure compliance with safety standards and internal plant procedures.Conduct follow-up on 6S methodology implementation and compliance within the plant, documenting findings and supporting corrective actions.Organize and deliver monthly training sessions focused on scrap reduction, sharing best practices and monitoring progress.Consolidate improvement indicators related to scrap and 6S, reporting results to the PPC Coordinator.RequirementsWho are we looking for?
