Job Title: Production Line Associate

Job Description

The Line Associate position is vital to ensuring the effective operation of the production line, meeting production, budgetary, quality, safety, and waste goals. Under the general supervision of the Production Manager, the associate must be fully attentive to their surroundings while maintaining a steady pace on a continually moving production line. The role requires multitasking, learning various work assignments, and adapting to diverse tasks. Maintaining a clean work area and following all safety and Good Manufacturing guidelines is essential. Collaborating well with others in a supportive team environment is crucial to achieving production quality and quantity standards while reducing waste, rework, and minimizing downtime.

ResponsibilitiesResponsible for line set-up, product changeovers, package size changes, and adjustments on line equipment.Operate processing, filling, and packaging production line equipment.Perform quality inspections of products and packs, including visual checks of raw materials, caps, labels, date codes, weights, packaging, and seals.Monitor work activities of the line team to ensure effective operation of the production line, meet production needs, uphold quality standards, minimize downtime, and practice waste control.Process required inventory control transactions using SAP and accurately complete all necessary paperwork.Perform allergen clean-up and daily housekeeping duties in the work area.Assist in training employees on the operation of line equipment and processes.Contribute to the development of team members by providing support and guidance.Essential SkillsAbility to read and write clearly and effectively.Dependability and the ability to work well with others in a team setting.Experience in industrial or production environments.Ability to remain attentive to machinery during long shifts.General labor and machine operation skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrior experience in warehouse production, loading, and packing.Troubleshooting skills for production equipment.Ability to perform inventory control transactions using SAP.Why Work Here

Work Environment

The work environment is indoor, clean, and air-conditioned, with a pleasant aroma of seasonings. Employees will wear PPE to adhere to food manufacturing safety standards. Shifts include 1st shift from 6:30am to 3pm, 2nd shift from 2:30pm to 11pm, and 3rd shift from 10:30pm to 7am, all with scheduled breaks and lunch.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.
