Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on operations champion who excels in increasing customer satisfaction while enhancing the efficiency of manpower and materials, with safety as the top priority. This position requires strong leadership skills to foster and maintain harmonious working relationships within the company. You will play a significant role in both short- and long-term planning, focusing on initiatives geared toward operational excellence.
Responsibilities
+ Ensure increasing levels of customer satisfaction while improving the efficiency of manpower and materials.
+ Monitor performance through company reports.
+ Proactively solve problems by identifying, analyzing, and developing solutions with contingency plans.
+ Develop and maintain capacity planning strategies to ensure schedule attainment.
+ Lead meetings, determine performance standards, and achieve company goals and objectives.
+ Maintain industry, professional, and technical knowledge by networking, attending industry events, and reviewing professional publications.
+ Train, coach, and mentor associates, supervisors, and other direct reports, ensuring subordinates support related initiatives for their employees in accordance with company management policies.
+ Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Proven experience in machine operation and production.
+ Mechanically inclined with strong production lead and supervisory skills.
+ Minimum of High School degree, with some college education preferred.
+ 5 plus years of progressively responsible experience, including scheduling and real-time operations management.
+ Strong experience in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Fulfillment.
+ Lean Manufacturing experience is a must.
+ Demonstrated Change Management leadership skills.
Shifts:
The role offers 2nd and 3rd shift opportunities, with compensation of $25.00 - $28.00 hourly plus a shift differential. This provides a dynamic and collaborative environment where operational excellence is prioritized.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
