We are seeking a motivated and experienced Production Lead to supervise and manage our production team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring our production processes run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
ResponsibilitiesSupervise, coach, and motivate production employees to achieve performance targets.Assign daily tasks and monitor progress to ensure production schedules are met.Provide training, feedback, and support for skill development.Foster a positive and safe work environment that promotes teamwork and accountability.Monitor workflow, materials, and resources to maintain continuous operations.Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.Identify and resolve production bottlenecks or quality issues.Analyze production metrics (efficiency, scrap, downtime) and implement corrective actions.Enforce safety guidelines and champion a culture of safety awareness.Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with ISO, OSHA, and company standards.Collaborate with Quality Assurance to address defects and maintain product standards.Participate in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement initiatives.Recommend process improvements to reduce waste, improve quality, and increase throughput.Support implementation of new equipment, technologies, and processes.Act as the point of contact between employees and management.Conduct daily shift meetings and communicate goals and expectations clearly.Prepare and submit production, quality, and staffing reports.
Essential SkillsHigh school diploma or GED required.3–5+ years of experience in manufacturing.2+ years in a production or manufacturing supervisory/leadership role.Proficiency in computer skills including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with production line, assembly, general production, and machine operation.

Work Environment
The position is based in an office environment with some exposure to manufacturing and fabricating areas. Typical office hours start between 7 and 8 AM and entail roughly 9-hour workdays. Weekend work is required occasionally.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
