**Job Title: Production Lead** **Job Description** As a Production Lead, you will direct and supervise production line personnel alongside the line mechanic. You will be assisting with production and packaging, operating forklifts, and providing relief as an operator and production worker when necessary. **Responsibilities** + Train regular and temporary personnel to their line positions. + Assist with production reports and prepare skid tags. + Monitor downtime reports, weight check sheets, and scrap reports. + Fill in during personnel shortages or when an employee leaves the line. + Ensure cans are properly labeled and cartons are glued and coded. + Inspect the entire line to ensure all components are removed before runs begin. + Monitor line employees' adherence to break and lunch periods to maximize line run time. + Attend daily production meetings. **Essential Skills** + 5-10 years of experience in production or manufacturing. + Experience in production management and continuous improvement. + Skills in general labor, general production, forklift operation, and machine operation. + Ability to train and manage personnel effectively. + Proficiency in preparing production reports and monitoring downtime. + Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Flexibility to assist wherever needed within production. + Lean manufacturing knowledge. + Bilingual skills are a plus. **Why Work Here?** Join a family-owned and operated company with a rich history as the first manufacturer of hairspray.
