**Job Title: Production Lead - 2nd Shift**
**Job Description**
As a Production Lead on the 2nd shift, you will delegate and oversee the workflow for line operations from the potato room through packaging, driving plant KPIs on a shift-by-shift basis. You will assist the Production Supervisor in implementing safety protocols and plant-defined KPIs, collaborating with technicians and associates to complete daily production goals. Your role also involves communicating production-related concerns to the Production Supervisor promptly and ensuring areas are audit-ready by maintaining cleanliness, organization, food safety, and environmental safety.
**Responsibilities**
+ Oversee and delegate workflow to production personnel from potato room through packaging.
+ Assist in implementing safety and KPI protocols as shown in the monthly scorecard.
+ Collaborate with technicians and associates to achieve daily production goals.
+ Communicate production-related concerns to the Production Supervisor promptly.
+ Ensure audit readiness by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.
+ Lead training for team members on equipment operation, safety, GMPs, and food safety processes.
+ Report any potential food safety issues.
**Essential Skills**
+ Machine operation experience
+ 2+ years of production experience in a fast-paced environment
+ 6+ months of lead or supervisory experience
+ Leadership and supervision skills
+ Proficiency in machine operating
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or GED
+ One to three months of related experience and/or training
+ Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
+ Effective communication skills for speaking before groups
+ Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and proportions
+ Basic algebra and geometry skills
+ Physical ability to stand, use hands, stoop, kneel, reach, crouch, crawl, climb, or balance
+ Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds
+ Ability to distinguish colors

**Work Environment**
Work on the 2nd shift from 2pm to 10:30pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime on weekends. The facility is clean and climate-controlled, requiring GMP environment protocols and PPE such as hair nets, smocks, and non-slip steel-toe shoes. The role involves working in both office and manufacturing environments, with exposure to moving mechanical parts, wet or humid conditions, high places, fumes, airborne particles, and vibrations.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $29.50/hr.
