Production Laborer
Job Title: Production LaborerJob Description

Join our team as a Production Laborer, where you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process of high-quality concrete products. You will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, ensuring the production of top-notch materials for building and landscaping projects.

ResponsibilitiesHand stack and grind concrete blocks to achieve a polished finish.Feed blocks onto conveyors for tumbling and stack finished products onto pallets.Perform quality inspections to ensure products are free from defects.Discard defective products and assist with automatic palletizing and wrapping.Perform lockout and tag out procedures under supervision and assist with general maintenance.Change molds and colors, and ensure cleanliness of the production area.Fill and stack bags of materials in the Bag Plant, maintaining a fast-paced workflow.Set your own pace in the Bag Plant and meet daily production quotas.Maintain a clean work environment by sweeping and clearing gravel.
Essential SkillsMechanical aptitude and maintenance skills.Experience in manufacturing or physical labor.Ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects (50-70 lbs).Safety mindset and familiarity with lockout/tag out procedures.
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in construction, farming, landscaping, or related fields.Strong self-motivation and ability to work quickly and independently.Potential for career growth into machine operator roles.

Work Environment

You will be working in a small, close-knit team within a pre-mix concrete plant. The environment can be dusty, and temperature variations are expected with seasonal changes. This role is physically demanding and involves consistent lifting and manual labor. Upon conversion, there are opportunities for training on machinery and expanded job duties.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane Valley, Washington.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
