Production Helper
**Job Title** : Operator 1, 2, & 3 – Coatings Manufacturing We are currently hiring for the 3rd shift only. 3rd shift 10:00 pm to 6:30 am (ONLY) Salary 3rd- $ 18.00 (ONLY) **Forklift Experience- MUST HAVE** **Chemical Experience MUST HAVE** **Job Purpose** : The role involves executing warehouse and production tasks to maintain high standards of safety, quality, service, efficiency, and cost control. The operator will support logistics, inventory management, and the production process, ensuring proper handling and storage of materials. **Key Responsibilities** : + Safely operate warehouse/production assets and ensure adherence to guidelines and best practices. + Perform maintenance, data collection, and administrative tasks. + Report safety or quality issues and ensure production targets are met. + Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of tanks, filters, and other equipment. + Manage raw material storage, assist batch makers, and ensure proper disposal of waste. + Fill-off completed products into containers, ensuring proper labeling and documentation. + Participate in continuous improvement activities and adhere to safety procedures. **Job Requirements** : + High school diploma required. + Ability to lift materials up to 75 lbs and handle large containers. + Forklift certification and experience preferred. + Basic skills in Microsoft Office and English communication. + Strong interpersonal and safety leadership skills. + Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to chemicals. + Previous manufacturing or paint industry experience preferred. **Physical and Environmental Requirements** : + Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods. + Ability to work in varying temperatures and weather conditions. + Steel-toed shoes and protective gear required. **Preferred Qualifications** : + Experience in paint manufacturing or related field. + Familiarity with HMI systems, forklift operations, and safety interlocks.
