Production Helper and Assembler

Job Description

Aerotek is HIRING NOW for a Production Helpers and Assemblers in the Pensacola, FL area. The candidate will be responsible for operating production machines and assembly order to specifications using hand and power tools. We are looking for a reliable individual who is mechanically inclined and looking for a long-term position within manufacturing. This is a contract-to-hire position with overtime hours, medical benefits, and weekly pay while on contract.

Job Overview:Job title: Production Helper / AssemblerLocation: Pensacola, FLShift Options:1st Shift: 6:00am-4:30pm (Mon-Thurs, overtime available on Friday & Saturday)2nd Shift: 4:30pm-3:00am (Mon-Thurs, overtime available on Friday & Saturday)Weekend Shift: 5:00am-5:30pm on Friday, 6:00am-6:30pm Saturday & Sunday = total of 36 hoursPay rate: $15-$16.50 (based on shift/experience) - pay increase within the first yearManufacturing facility (non-climate controlled)Work on assembly line: assembling metal pieces to order specifications.Utilize hand and power tools for assembly.Manufacture products and components according to product specifications, drawings, BOMs, work orders, and run schedules.

Qualifications:Manufacturing, Construction, or Industrial Experience is preferred.Experience working in non-climate controlled environments.Ability to lift 30-50 pounds consistently.Ability to work standing for 10-12 hour shifts.Experience using tools (drills) is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00/hr.
