**Job Title: Production Helper** **Job Description** We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Support Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various shop tasks that support the production process and ensure efficient operation of our manufacturing processes. This role requires a versatile individual capable of handling multiple duties, including but not limited to: setup, maintenance, and operation of wire EDM and Polishing machines, piston grinding, and performing honing and filling operations for hydraulic toolholders. **Responsibilities** + Perform setup, maintenance, and operation of wire EDM and Polishing machines. + Conduct piston grinding and honing operations for hydraulic toolholders. + Utilize tools such as allen wrenches, cordless drills, and torque wrenches. + Understand blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, and sample parts to determine dimensions, tolerances, and features on finished work-pieces. + Observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjust machine controls as required. + Operate calipers and precision-grade gauges during in-process and finished inspection. + Verify conformance of finished work-pieces by checking specifications, visually inspecting, cross-referencing assembly components, testing function, and signing off on manufacturing papers. + Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, or coworkers to resolve difficulties and concerns. **Essential Skills** + Experience in production, assembly, and hand tool use. + Ability to understand and interpret blueprints and sketches. + Proficiency in using precision-grade gauges and calipers. + Familiarity with metric and English measurement systems. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with allen wrenches, cordless drills, and torque wrenches. + Knowledge of quality assurance processes. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic and supportive team where you can contribute to efficient manufacturing processes.
