Production Floor Coordinator
**Job Title: Production Coordinator** **Job Description** We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Production Coordinator to join our team. This position requires a significant amount of physical activity, including heavy lifting and walking, to ensure the smooth operation of the production floor. The role is pivotal to our operations, acting as the backbone that supports our production machine operators. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, computer skills, ability to work Independently, good communication skills and be open to training on different shifts. **Responsibilities** + Maintain continuous material flow to all machine operators to prevent downtime + Locate, pull, and deliver parts and components as needed across the production floor + Keep inventory areas clean, organized, and accurately labeled + Track material usage and report shortages or discrepancies + Coordinate daily with warehouse, inventory control, machine operators, and managers + Monitor production needs and proactively prepare materials ahead of schedule + Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits + Move, lift, and transport parts and materials throughout the facility + Maintain a safe, efficient, and clutter‑free production environment + Respond quickly to operator requests and shifting priorities **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once + Self‑motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision + Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple departments + Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, constantly changing environment + Ability to lift and move materials regularly (up to company‑specified weight requirements) + High attention to detail and accuracy in inventory handling + Prior experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or material handling preferred + Must read and write English. + Must be at least 18 years old. + Ability to lift 50 lbs. + Authorized to work in the U.S. + Pass drug screen and physical abilities test. + Manufacturing experience or good tenure in a physically demanding job. **Why Work Here?** Join a family-owned and operated company that values growth and development. Expect occasional mandatory overtime on Fridays. The facility can get hot in summer and cold in winter, and you must be capable of lifting up to 75 lbs. The production floor includes various large machinery. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Renton, WA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.30 - $24.30/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
