**Job Title: Production Expeditor** **Job Description**
Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within and between departments according to the production schedule. Review and distribute production work and shipment schedules by coordinating with department managers to determine the progress of work and completion schedules.
**Responsibilities**
+ Facilitate the efficient flow of materials and jobs on the manufacturing floor.
+ Work with production managers to identify issues or constraints and communicate impact to appropriate parties.
+ Track expedited and/or key jobs to ensure they remain on track, providing solutions to realign jobs that are off schedule.
+ Provide analysis on potential expedites, including impacts on existing schedules.
+ Perform as a liaison between PM/Sales and Production groups.
+ Other duties as assigned.

+ Two to three years of experience in a manufacturing, industrial machining, or fabrication assembly environment working with metal or plastic.

+ Proficiency in the MS Office suite.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels and disciplines.
+ Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles in a low-volume manufacturing environment.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in inventory control, forklift operation, cycle counts, warehouse inventory, material handling, especially within the high-tech/semiconductor industry.

**Work Environment**
Work in a cleanroom environment, presenting a professional image in accordance with company appearance standards. The environment includes a positive pressure HEPA filtered cleanroom, compliance with gowning procedures, and adherence to International Standards Organization (ISO) certified standards. Expect some noise and plastic chips in the manufacturing area, with safety glasses and hearing protection recommended. Compliance with company safety practices and procedures is essential. Ability to stand at the workstation for designated shifts and lift up to 35 lbs is required.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tigard, OR.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
