Job Description
This position encompasses both logistics and driving responsibilities, with approximately 20% of the role involving driving and 80% dedicated to logistics specialist duties within the warehouse. The Driver is responsible for delivering and picking up goods, maintaining vehicle records, and ensuring the cleanliness and operability of company vehicles. In the logistics capacity, the specialist manages receiving, order picking, and shipment of products to both internal and external customers. This role requires attention to detail and proficiency with computers and warehouse software, along with the ability to operate forklifts and power hand tools.
ResponsibilitiesOperate various vehicles to transport goods and materials within the Puget Sound area.Utilize forklifts, hand trucks, and other light hand power equipment.Ensure the cleanliness of vehicles and perform daily and weekly inspections, including fluid levels and air pressure.Maintain daily driving logs and file purchase orders for fuel receipts.Perform minor maintenance and repairs on vehicles, such as tire maintenance and wiper blade replacements.Report maintenance and repair issues to the Shipping Manager.Follow all safety guidelines, including the use of safety equipment and procedures.Receive shipments of incoming materials and load/unload trucks.Select appropriate packaging materials per customer requirements and route outgoing shipments.Complete paperwork such as customs invoices, bills of lading, and job pick lists.Pull parts from stores and finished goods while maintaining inventory accuracy.Maintain shipment history files and interface with departments to ensure timely material movement.Perform part marking and over-coating using Manufacturing Order instructions.Adhere to all trade compliance guidelines and perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsExperience in logistics, inventory, shipping and receiving, and order picking.Proficiency in driving and operating box trucks and forklifts.Customer service orientation.Ability to perform analysis and generate reports using reporting software.Skill in material handling, data entry, and using RF scanners.Additional Skills & QualificationsMotivated and dependable with strong attention to detail.Valid Washington State Driver’s License with an excellent driving record.Ability to adhere to a flexible and demanding schedule.Good verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and keyboarding.Experience with hand and power tools like hammers and drills.High school diploma or equivalent.Approved training in forklift operation.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $32.00/hr.
