We are looking for you to join our team as a Production Controller 1 based out of Apopka, FL.

What you'll get to do:

Maintains schedules for material requirements and availability for the manufacture of industrial and commercial products to support production control. Compiles records concerning quantity, cost, and type of material received, shipped, in stock or inventory, and/or in production. Expedites the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments following production and shipping schedules. Assists in determining possible and actual shortages and may initiate action to correct these deficiencies. Uses knowledge of production, procurement, and engineering departments to alert proper authorities regarding potential problems and appropriate remedial action. Estimates and logs production rate and time expenditures, and may be required to establish the sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates.

Supports program meetings daily with program management, manufacturing management, quality, and procurement.Daily updates and reports out on shortages, part replacements, backorders & other material challenges that could impact weekly customer deliveries.Prompt Fulfillment of replacement materialPrioritize/Expedite “make” items in commodity areas to support program weekly customer deliveries.Leads effort with expeditor to ensure program-aged WIP 60 days or less.Floor Counts/ Z-Cell and reconciliationWork with stockroom partners and prioritize kits needed on the floor to support weekly deliveries.Create rework work orders.Facilitate material transfers between projects when needed.Strong prioritization, interpersonal, and communication skillsStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)  Attention to DetailDemonstrated ability to collaborate across the organization.Comfortable wearing cleanroom attire and working in the cleanroom for the entire workday.Willingness to learn new tasks.Strong Problem-Solving SkillsAbility to work on multiple projects and adjust priority changes within a dynamic work environmentAbility to lift and move hardware when needed, some of which may weigh up to 30 lbsCapable of working weekends or extended hours if notified in advance.

Basic Qualifications for the Production Controller 1:

US citizenshipHigh School Diploma or equivalent.1 year’s experience in a manufacturing environment.1 year’s previous Work Experience in a production control, inventory control, or stockroom role.1 year of experience working in an ERP system.U.S. Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications for the Production Controller 1:

Knowledge of MPLM.SAP - ERP Experience.APICS – CPIM certified.DoD experience.

MANUMS

Primary Level Salary Range: $31,200.00 - $50,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
