The Production Control Specialist III is responsible for tracking and coordinating manufacturing operations to ensure smooth and efficient production runs. This role involves working with the production team to meet safety regulations and quality standards, particularly in the aerospace industry. The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of traceability, demand planning, complex BOM assembly, and handling requirements.
ResponsibilitiesWork cross-functionally to oversee daily production operations, including scheduling, planning, and organizing work in progress (WIP) and finished goods (FG).Improve production scheduling tools and WIP tracking.Monitor, track, report, and move parts as required through the production flow to ensure timely delivery to the next production location.Ensure proper handling and protection of parts.Collaborate with the enterprise planning team to resolve immediate floor shortages on work orders and floor stock inventory.Assist production leadership and project teams with action item updates.Highlight needs, deliverables, and constraints to management as required.Support new team members, contribute directly to the work, and collaborate closely with leads and managers on execution plans.Assess progress in real time, adapt quickly, and actively drive change.
Essential Skills2-4+ years of experience in production control within a manufacturing setting.Proficiency in planning, ERP, MRP, MES, SAP, Excel, and the Microsoft Office Suite.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex issues.Experience with MRP/ERP systems.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalency certificate.4+ years of experience in production control within a manufacturing setting.Strong computer skills, familiar with SAP ERP/MES or any MRP system, and the full suite of MS Office products.Experience with SQL and Tableau.Inventory experience.Experience in aerospace, military, automotive, semiconductor, or electronic manufacturing environments.Adaptability to new systems and environments.Ability to master order of operations and develop an internal sense of timing.
Work Environment
The position is onsite in Redmond. The role requires flexibility with shift schedules, primarily focusing on M-F night shifts starting at 5pm. However, there is potential for M-F day shifts starting at 6am for analytical and detail-oriented candidates. Shift options include Wed-Sat from 5pm to 3:30am (back half) and Sun-Wed from 5pm to 3:30am (front half), with day shifts typically including one weekend day. Training for the first three weeks occurs during the day, so flexibility is essential. The environment is fast-paced and intellectually challenging, typical of a tech startup, requiring strong problem-solving skills and the ability to operate with minimal structure.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr.
