Production Control Specialist III
Job Title: Production Control Specialist IIIJob Description As a Production Control Specialist III, you will be responsible for tracking and coordinating manufacturing operations, ensuring production runs smoothly and efficiently to meet deadlines. You will collaborate with the production team to uphold safety regulations and quality standards while managing various aspects of aerospace production, including traceability, demand planning, and complex BOM assembly. Responsibilities + Oversee daily production operations, including scheduling, planning, and organizing work in progress (WIP) and finished goods (FG). + Improve production scheduling tools and WIP tracking. + Monitor, track, report, and move parts through the production flow to ensure timely delivery to the next production location. + Ensure parts are handled and protected properly. + Work with the enterprise planning team to resolve immediate floor shortages on work orders and floor stock inventory. + Assist production leadership and project teams with action item updates. + Highlight needs, deliverables, and constraints to management. Essential Skills + 2-4+ years of experience in production control within a manufacturing setting. + Proficiency in ERP/MRP/MES/SAP systems. + Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel. + Ability to solve complex issues and work independently. + Experience with inventory management. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High school diploma or equivalency certificate. + 4+ years of experience in production control in a manufacturing setting. + Strong computer skills, familiarity with SAP ERP/MES (or any MRP system) and the full suite of MS Office products. + SQL and Tableau experience. + Experience in aerospace, military, automotive, semiconductor, or electronic manufacturing environments. + Go-getter mentality with a history of problem-solving. Work Environment The position is based onsite in Redmond with shifts including Front Half Nights and Back Half Nights, as well as day shifts that include a weekend day. The work environment is fast-paced and challenging, typical of a tech startup. The role requires flexibility with shifts, including initial training during the day for three weeks. Candidates must be comfortable working in a warehouse setting, and ready to operate in an environment with loosely defined processes, requiring strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
