Production Associate / Material Specialist

Job Description Summary

As a Material Specialist at Caterpillar, you will execute a variety of functions related to material handling and warehouse operations. You will also work with various source documents to verify the accuracy and conditions of parts.

This role includes salary starting at $20.40/hour with periodic wage increases, healthcare insurance, employee discount programs, free employee assistance program, and more. Depending on business requirements, normal working hours will be 40 hours per week with opportunity for overtime. Don’t miss this opportunity! We also offer an additional $1.00/hour night shift premium for our 2nd and 3rd shift employees!

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Work in a environment with changing temperaturesWalk, squat, and bend over for intervals at a timeOperate material handling equipment such as power trucks, forklifts, pallet lifts, etc.Perform stock countsPick parts manually and deliver to various parts of facility

Required qualifications for Mapleton Seals Material Handler:

Basic knowledge of warehouse or similar environmentAbility to obtain certification to drive facility vehicles

Top candidates will also have:

Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environmentBasic math skills

Positions available on 2nd and 3rd shifts3rd shift: 11:00 pm - 7:00 am, Sunday night-Friday morningThis position does not offer relocationThis position requires no travelCandidates must be at least 18 years of agePositions are supplemental full-time
