As a Production Associate, you will be involved in repetitive general labor tasks, primarily focused on handling bricks. This involves removing bricks from kiln carts and stacking them on the monorail in a consistent manner. The job requires standing in one area and moving bricks repeatedly.
ResponsibilitiesAssist in all brick manufacturing operations.Mix sands for sand applications and set up and maintain sand application processes.Mix slurry for slurry applications and manage all aspects of slurry processes.Clean, maintain, install, and adjust all dies, heads, and cutting blades.Monitor and ensure the quality of bricks being produced.Track schedules and prepare paints and sands for changeovers.Maintain all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and inventory tracking documents.Observe, report, and assist in equipment maintenance and repairs as directed.Essential SkillsPrevious manufacturing experience is preferred.Strong mechanical skills and understanding.Willingness to learn and take direction.Ability to lift 50 pounds.Additional Skills & QualificationsProduction experience.Mechanically inclined.Attention to detail.Why Work Here?Enjoy the opportunity to transition to a direct role, offering long-term stability and growth potential.
Work EnvironmentThe work environment can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter, with a relatively dusty atmosphere. The role involves working around machinery that processes and stacks bricks. The standard hours are 7 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Employees must wear steel-toed shoes and long pants, with vests and safety glasses provided.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.50 - $22.50/hr.
