**Job Description**
**The Production Associate** plays an essential role in supporting daily brick manufacturing operations. This position involves repetitive manual tasks such as removing bricks from kiln carts and stacking them onto the monorail with consistency and accuracy. The role requires standing for extended periods and performing repeated movements in a fast-paced production environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Support all phases of brick manufacturing operations.
+ Mix sands for sand applications and assist with setup, operation, and maintenance of sand application processes.
+ Mix slurry materials and manage all aspects of slurry applications.
+ Clean, maintain, install, and adjust dies, heads, and cutting blades to ensure smooth production flow.
+ Inspect bricks throughout the production process to maintain quality standards.
+ Track production schedules and prepare sand and paint materials during machine changeovers.
+ Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and keep accurate inventory and process documentation.
+ Observe equipment performance, report issues, and assist with routine maintenance and repairs as directed.
**Essential Skills**
+ Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
+ Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
+ Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and adapt to production needs.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Prior production and assembly experience.
+ Mechanically inclined with hands-on problem-solving ability.
+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

**Work Environment**
The work environment varies with seasons—hot in the summer and cold in the winter—and involves exposure to dust and active machinery used in brick processing and stacking.
**Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
**Required PPE:** Steel-toed shoes and long pants (safety vests and glasses provided)
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rocky Ridge, MD.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $22.50/hr.
