**Job Title: Production Associate** **Job Description** Join our dynamic team as a Production Associate where you will be instrumental in the production of Millwork and various products. Your role will involve moving, handling, and processing wood pieces and millwork. This includes packing orders, building crates, finishing work, sanding products, and ensuring seamless production flow. SHIFT: 6am to 2:30pm Monday to Friday **Responsibilities** + Perform production tasks including handling and processing wood and millwork. + Move, handle, and list wood pieces through the production process. + Pack orders, build crates, and perform finishing work like sanding. + Push boards and ensure efficient production flow. + Work independently with minimal direction when needed. + Maintain a safe and clean work area. + Evaluate finished product quality against visual and documented standards. + Comply with company PPE policy. + Perform tool checks and preventative maintenance on tools. + Execute other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Experience in production and general labor. + Proficiency with hand tools and carpentry. + Experience in construction and pallet building. + Ability to work independently. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience as a general laborer or plant helper. + Skills in flooring or related areas. **Why Work Here?** This is an excellent opportunity for a long-term position with growth potential through our Pay for Skills Program. Safety glasses and gloves are provided. Dress code includes typical manufacturing attire such as work pants, jeans, sweatshirts, and work boots (steel toe preferred). The warehouse is heated and equipped with a cafeteria that has a refrigerator and microwave. Enjoy two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch during your shift from 6 AM to 2:30 PM. The plant currently employs 43 people, with plans to expand to 55. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Egg Harbor City, NJ. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
