**Production Associate** **Paying $23.50** **Location - NW Portland, OR 97210** We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team in a metals recycling environment. The role involves material handling and machine operation, where you will load raw metal into a chopping machine to cut and form it into small, rounded pieces for manufacturing companies. You will also offload the finished product from the machine and prepare it for shipping. This position offers regular hours from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Thursday, and 5 am to 1 pm on Friday. **Responsibilities:** + Handle materials and operate machinery in a metals recycling environment. + Load raw metal pieces into the chopping machine. + Cut and form metal into small, rounded pieces. + Offload the finished product from the machine. + Prepare finished products for shipping. **Qualifications:** + No specific experience required. + Experience in manufacturing or industrial settings is ideal. + Must be comfortable wearing all PPE including a hard hat, safety glasses, high visibility vests, steel-toed boots, and ear plugs. + Must be comfortable working outside about 50% of the time. **Environment/ Shift:** + The work environment is industrial with a strong emphasis on safety.
