Job Title: Production Associate

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Production Associate with experience in shipping, receiving, and packaging. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of shipping/receiving experience and at least 6 months of packaging experience, specifically in operating wrapping equipment. You must be able to measure and weigh accurately to ensure product quality and consistency.

Responsibilities

Work in shipping/receiving or on the production team, with a willingness to learn and perform various roles.Assemble adhesives and package orders for customers.Cut rolls of fireproof tape to size.Measure the correct milliliter amount of hardener and inject it into glue products.Repackage glue, caulk, adhesives, and other similar materials.

Essential Skills

1-2 years of shipping/receiving experience.6 months of packaging experience.Ability to measure and weigh with precision.Proficiency in simple mathematical operations, including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with UPS or Ship Gear package tracking system.Attention to detail and good attitude.Ability to compare numbers, read and write effectively.Capability to use a tape measure and a scale.Ability to pick and pack items weighing up to 50 lbs.Familiarity with warehouse operations, assembly, and general production tasks.

Work Environment

The company specializes in manufacturing and distributing high-temperature materials and adhesives for industrial applications. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday from 9am to 5pm and Friday from 9am to 4pm, with a lunch break from 12:15pm to 1pm. The dress code is business casual, providing a comfortable yet professional atmosphere.

This is a Contract position based out of Brooklyn, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
