**Job Title: Production Associate**
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and physically capable Production Associate to join our team. The role involves handling metal automotive parts, ensuring their proper placement and quality. The work is straightforward yet physically demanding, involving frequent lifting of parts weighing 20-45 lbs every 2-3 minutes.
Responsibilities
+ Lift and handle metal automotive parts weighing up to 40 lbs.
+ Unload parts into machines, ensuring they are clamped securely.
+ Conduct quality checks on products to ensure they meet standards.
+ Place products in bins according to part numbers and labeling.
+ Assist in part loading, with robots responsible for unloading and stacking.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in performing physical work, including lifting 25-40 lbs frequently.
+ Background in industries requiring physical labor such as construction, farming, or landscaping.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with manufacturing, machine operation, and quality checks.
+ Familiarity with roles such as assembler or parts washer.

Work Environment
The role is based in a manufacturing setting characterized by a loud and busy atmosphere. The facility specializes in metal machining and is well-lit to ensure safety and visibility. Work hours vary with shifts from 8am-4pm, 4pm-12am, and 12am-8am, with frequent work on Saturdays and rare Sunday shifts offering double time pay.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Port Huron, Michigan.
Pay rate= $16.50/hour
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
