Production Associate
Job Title: Production Associate

Job Description

As a Production Associate, you will oversee the production line responsible for creating various fasteners for multiple automotive companies. You will conduct visual inspections and quality checks on finished products, unload hoppers, and prepare boxes for shipment. Additionally, you will utilize an RF scanner to track outgoing inventory, load boxes onto conveyors, perform minor maintenance on machines as needed, and assist with other production tasks while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee production line producing automotive fasteners.Perform visual inspections and quality checks on finished products.Unload hoppers and prepare boxes for shipment.Utilize RF scanner for inventory tracking.Load boxes of fasteners onto conveyors.Perform minor maintenance on machines as needed.Assist with other production tasks as required.Ensure all job duties are performed safely and efficiently.

Essential Skills

General labor and production experience.Ability to operate manufacturing machines and run production lines.Proficiency in using a tape measure.Operate forklift as needed in order to move material throughout facility. Capability to lift up to 50lbs throughout the shift.Attention to detail for quality checks and inspections.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.1-2 years of previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.Previous material handling experience is a plus.

Work Environment

The work environment is extremely clean and encompasses 180 employees across Ohio and Michigan sites, with Ohio being the larger facility. Enjoy a choice between first shift (7am-3:30pm or 9am-5:30pm for Quality Department roles) and second shift (3pm-11:30pm).

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hudson, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
