Production Associate
Job Title: Production AssociateJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated Production Associate who can perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role involves handling metal automotive parts and ensuring quality control standards are met.

ResponsibilitiesLift and handle metal automotive parts weighing between 20-45 lbs every 2-3 minutes.Unload parts into machinery, ensure proper clamping, and operate machines.Perform quality checks on products, ensuring they are correctly labeled and placed in designated bins.Participate in part loading operations, with robots assisting in unloading and stacking.
Essential SkillsExperience in physical work environments, such as construction, farming, or landscaping.Ability to lift 25-40 lbs frequently.Familiarity with machine operation and quality checks in a manufacturing setting.
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in assembly and parts washing in a manufacturing environment is an asset.Candidates with backgrounds in handling heavier materials are preferred.

Work Environment

The role is situated in a loud, busy, and well-lit manufacturing facility specializing in metal machining. The position requires lifting parts from waist and knee height. Shifts are available across days, afternoons, and midnights, with frequent Saturday work and occasional Sundays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Port Huron, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
