Job Title: Production Associate, 18+hr, 2nd and 3rd shift

Job Description

As a Production Associate, you will perform a variety of tasks on the production floor, ensuring all duties are completed safely and efficiently. You will operate industrial sewing equipment and machinery to cut tarps to the appropriate size, set up and adjust machinery between runs, and conduct quality checks on finished products. Maintaining a clean and organized work area is essential throughout your shift.

Responsibilities

Operate industrial sewing equipment and machinery for tarp cutting.Set up and make adjustments to machinery as required.Perform quality checks on finished products, inspecting color, size, and measurements.Oversee and operate multiple production lines as needed.Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.

Essential Skills

Comfortable working on feet in a fast-paced environment.Ability to read a tape measure and use hand and power tools.Capability to perform basic tasks on a computer.Ability to lift 50lbs.Skill in basic shop math.Ability to multi-task and work independently.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Previous manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required.Familiarity with machine operation and general production tasks.

Work Environment

Work in a family-owned, non-climate-controlled facility with around 125 employees. Safety is a top priority, with regular monthly training. Currently, all openings are on the 2nd and 3rd shifts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wooster, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.25 - $19.25/hr.
