**2nd and 3rd Shift Production Operator**
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated individual for a general labor position with the potential to grow into an operator role. Candidates will receive training, although a basic understanding of machine operation is advantageous for success. You will work collaboratively in a team of 3 to 4 members and assist additional packers when needed.
Responsibilities
+ Assist in loading and unloading machinery.
+ Perform quality checks on steel during and after the process to ensure proper operation.
+ Use measurement tools such as mics, calipers, and gauges.
+ Handle shipping and receiving of materials within the facility.
+ Move materials around the facility safely.
+ Maintain a safe working environment.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in manufacturing, particularly with presses, steel, or large machinery.
+ Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
+ Proficiency in reading a tape measure to 1/16 inch.
+ Experience working in teams of 3-4 people.
+ Familiarity with hand and power tools.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
