Production Associate
**Production Associate $18/20/hr** **Job Description** A Production Associate performs various tasks related to setting up and operating equipment in a battery recycling facility, ensuring high-quality product output and proper maintenance. The role includes operating machinery, maintaining equipment, cleaning work areas, and adhering to safety protocols while moving finished products with forklifts and complying with environmental and safety regulations. **Responsibilities** + Operate machinery and equipment efficiently to ensure high-quality product output. + Maintain equipment and ensure it operates smoothly and efficiently. + Keep the work area clean and orderly, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained. + Follow safety protocols to comply with environmental and safety regulations. + Move materials and products using a forklift to and from production and sorting areas. + Assist with sorting and packaging batteries, identifying and separating different types and components into correct containers. + Conduct quality checks on products and materials to ensure they meet quality standards and report any defects or equipment issues to a supervisor. **Essential Skills** + Experience in general production and machine operation. + Ability to use hand tools and handle materials effectively. + Experience in production, shipping, and receiving. + Familiarity with general labor and construction practices. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Proficiency in operating forklifts. + Experience in sorting and packaging products. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that values safety, quality, and environmental responsibility. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
