Production Associate

**Job Description**
We are looking to hire production associates to assist with the manufacturing of blades for John Deere ag equipment! You'll be integral in the production process, handling tasks from placing blades on conveyor lines to quality inspection.
**Responsibilities**
+ Place blades on conveyor line for processing through oven/furnace.
+ Use hand tools/grabbers to transfer blades to press.
+ Cool blades by placing them in a quench.
+ Hang blades for painting and conduct quality inspections.
+ Prepare items for shipment.
**Essential Skills**
+ General labor experience in production and manufacturing.
+ Proficiency in machine operation and assembly line processes.
+ Strong critical thinking and teamwork abilities.
+ Competence in measuring and attention to detail.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Ability to stand for 10-hour shifts, rotating among stations.
+ Capability to lift 40-50 lbs.
+ Keen attention to detail for identifying quality defects.
+ Willingness to work in environments that can become hot.

**Work Environment**
The facility is clean and organized, featuring various departments including welding, shipping/receiving, and engineering. Some areas may become hot due to furnace operations. Orientation starts at 8 AM and includes a tour, lunch, and job shadowing. Available shifts are 6:00am - 2:30pm and 2:00pm - 10:30pm.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.50/hr.
