Job Title: Production Associate
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Production Associate to join our team. You will work closely with another individual in assigned cells, primarily focusing on one production line and cross-training based on proficiency. Your shift will be from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, offering a structured workday.

ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate various machines such as rewind machine, bunchers dynamex, samp wire draw machine, plating line, and egr gaw.Assemble parts as directed by the Cell Lead.Effectively monitor production equipment to ensure optimal performance.Read and comprehend bill of materials and blueprints for accurate production.Communicate with the Cell Lead regarding any discrepancies in drawings or bill of materials.Inspect pieces/parts to ensure they conform to specifications and industry standards.Operate air and power tools as necessary.Use measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, thread gages, gage pins, and tape measures.Maintain productivity levels that meet or exceed production standards.Follow all safety rules and procedures diligently.Ensure all tools and supplies are organized and stored correctly in the work area daily.Keep the work area clean and organized.Collaborate closely with the Quality Control Department.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsProficiency in machine operation and general production.Ability to continuously stand, move, and reach with arms and hands.Experience with frequent walking, bending, lifting, and carrying items.Capability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with using safety equipment such as safety shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is within a 40-person plant, requiring personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection. You will be working closely with another team member, ensuring a dynamic and engaging atmosphere.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Fairmont, North Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $16.50/hr.
