Job Title: Production Associate

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Production Associate to join our team specializing in the design and manufacture of advanced fuel systems. This position involves working with CNG fuel storage systems/tanks for trucks and big rigs, ensuring high-quality standards and efficient production processes.

ResponsibilitiesAccurately interpret and prepare detailed work instructions and procedures.Utilize assembly tools, fixtures, and specialized equipment proficiently.Demonstrate knowledge of mechanical assembly processes and best practices.Assist with filament winding operations, including resin application and tool maintenance.Support rotomolding processes through material preparation and boss recovery tasks.Perform tank labeling and foam dome installation with precision and care.Assemble and package products to meet or exceed quality standards and delivery timelines.Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items.Clean and lubricate equipment.Load and provide raw materials, such as resin and paxon.Support filament winding tasks such as resin squeezing, tool cleaning, and setting up floor mats.Dispose of all scrap resin, fiber, and cardboards responsibly.Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards.Essential SkillsMechanical inclination.At least 1.5 years of production or machine operation experience.Proficiency with hand and power tools.Ability to work with visual instruction sheets or blueprints.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with resin, epoxy, composite materials, Kevlar, pre-preg, fiberglass, and carbon fiber.Ability to use a torque wrench is a plus.Experience with routers is advantageous but not mandatory.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work takes place in a very clean, large manufacturing facility equipped with multiple machines. The environment is comfortable, not too industrial, and conducive to productivity. Employees are required to wear steel-toed boots and must be okay with 50-60 hour work weeks, including mandatory overtime.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lake Forest, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
