**Job Title: Production Associate**
**Job Description**
This position involves monitoring production runs through molding machines, ensuring quality, and maintaining cleanliness in the Main Molding and Polycams areas.
**Responsibilities**
+ Attend up to five presses based on production schedules and manufacturing requirements.
+ Check all molded products hourly for defects and report any issues to the Team Leader/Processor or Quality and Shift Supervisor if necessary.
+ Grind runners, check cappers for runners, and clean tracks, bowls, and conveyors as needed.
+ Perform quality checks and hygrade products for defects.
+ Complete labeling and ensure rejected and accepted products are separated.
+ Operate and monitor grinders and presses to ensure products are manufactured according to specifications, schedules, and deadlines.
+ Maintain a neat and orderly work area, keeping walkways and aisles clear.
+ Perform general housekeeping duties, including sweeping and trash removal.
+ Lift/move items up to 35 lbs and engage in standing, walking, bending, crouching, squatting, and reaching.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in production, general labor, and general production.
+ Ability to perform heavy lifting.
+ One year of experience in a similar role is preferred.
+ Plastic injection and manufacturing experience is preferred.
+ Proficiency in machine operation and using hand tools.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ May perform assembly and inspection functions as required.
+ Ability to perform other duties according to skill and availability when primary work is not available.

**Work Environment**
The manufacturing floor offers a collaborative atmosphere with strong team dynamics, emphasizing safety and compliance. Work schedules include 1st shift from 6:42 am to 3:12 pm, 2nd shift from 2:42 pm to 11:12 pm, and 3rd shift from 10:42 pm to 7:12 am.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Slatersville, Rhode Island.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
