Job Title: Production Associate

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated great candidates to efficiently help with production and warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

Meet and maintain daily production rates and goals as established and required by the company.

Read and follow standard work instructions.

Keep supervisory staff informed of all cell activity including but not limited to information related to quality, parts supply and safety issues that may occur

within the scope of responsibility.

Complete all required cell activities and documentation for assigned work cell as requested by supervisor.

Attend all required training.

Adhere to safety procedures at all times.

Address all quality and safety concerns via the appropriate channels for an assigned cell.

Participate in all required continuous improvement activities as required by the business.

Keep work station clean, orderly and free of safety hazards at all times.

Actively participate in all department projects, tasks and objectives but not limited to continuous improvement activities.

Maintain the highest ethical standards.

Must be able to use all required tools in an assigned work area.

Perform other job duties as assigned.

Rarely extended overtime during the work week and working weekends may be required to

Must be able to work hours beyond the scheduled shift during the week and weekends.Ability to read, write, and comprehend the English language.Detail-oriented with the ability to lift up to 25 pounds periodically.Capability to sit for prolonged periods, stand and walk intermittently, and engage in shipping activities on the warehouse floor throughout the shift.Physical ability to bend, push, pull, and kneel.Willingness to work in weather extremes and wear all required PPE.Compliance with all plant safety policies.Self-directed and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.Why Work Here?

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of SMITHFIELD, North Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $19.00/hr.
