Job Title: Production Operator
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Production Operator responsible for converting sealant and coating products from large drums into various sized bottles and containers. The operator will manage the process, ensuring each bottle is accurately filled, labeled, and packaged for shipment. The role requires attention to detail and efficiency in handling order sheets, labeling, packaging, and maintaining accurate counts of packaged products.

ResponsibilitiesConvert sealant and coating product from large drums to different sized bottles and containers.Ensure order sheets are accurate to machine production.Label and package bottles for shipment.Add additional components to packaging as required.Complete between 200-400 bottles per day, depending on material and bottle size.Clean and organize work station at the end of each shift to ensure readiness for the next day.Essential SkillsExperience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Ability to sit or stand for the duration of the shift.Capability to lift 25lbs 50+ times per day.Must have steel-toed/composite shoes.Ability to work in a no-smoke campus environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsForklift experience is a plus.Experience filling tubes and containers with material.Experience in the aerospace industry.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work hours are Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with some Saturdays required from 5:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The environment is clean, climate-controlled, and offers designated stations with personal radios allowed at a noise minimum. Safety is prioritized with weekly training, and the community is inclusive, celebrating employee milestones. Awareness of hazard code labels and compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements are mandatory. Participation in 5S activities is encouraged.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
