Production Associate 18/hr Detroit 1st Shift
**Job Title: Production Associate** **Job Description** We are seeking dedicated and proactive candidates to join our team as Production Associates. This role involves assisting with various production tasks in a manufacturing environment, ensuring efficient and smooth operations. **Responsibilities** + Scrape the sides of drums. + Organize work areas. + Assist with production of batches. + Monitor machines' RPM and temperature. + Clean totes/bins on the shop floor. + Assist with cleaning and organizing the warehouse. + Move materials/products throughout the plant floor, including liquid drums. + Run production processes. + Package paint. + Occasionally operate a forklift. + May dump materials into the drums. **Essential Skills** + Prior production experience in a manufacturing environment. + Ability to stand and move throughout the entire shift. + Capability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively and perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching. + Proficiency in following written and verbal work instructions. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Prior forklift experience is highly preferred (training will be provided regardless of experience). **Why Work Here?** This company offers significant growth opportunities, including the potential to advance to lead or supervisor roles. The workweek consists of four 10-hour days, Monday through Thursday, offering a rare 40-hour workweek. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Detroit, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
