**Job Title: Production Equipment Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking diligent and dedicated candidates to operate production equipment, including dryers, baggers, and standardizers. This role requires close monitoring of milk flow, managing production batches, and maintaining quality and safety standards. **Responsibilities** + Monitor the flow of milk from incoming tankers to the drying process. + Communicate with the production department about batches and types of production. + Start up, run, and clean the standardizer machine. + Maintain proper quality of production and adhere to safety standards. + Organize and clean work areas and machines. + Assemble and disassemble pumps. **Essential Skills** + Previous production experience, particularly on a production line or with food production equipment. + Basic math skills for managing production increments. + Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently throughout the shift. + Physical capability to stand and walk for the entire shift. + High School Diploma. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Preferred in the food and beverage industry. **Why Work Here?** Our company offers competitive shift premiums, comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, and generous bonuses for cross-training and perfect attendance. The Lyndon plant is not climate controlled and can become hot and humid in the summer. The newer plant, while modern, also experiences heat due to machinery. The floor is wet, and employees must adhere to FDA regulations, wearing provided protective gear such as smocks, gloves, boots, and hair nets. Comfortable clothing is recommended under the uniform. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of DETROIT, MI. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
