Job Title: Production Associate
Job Description

As a Production Associate, you will read and interpret simple blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to verify assembly process and quality requirements. You will take direction from supervisors to understand assembly procedures and production goals. Following assembly procedures, you will build parts using hands and small machinery, while explaining assembly techniques to other workers. Your role will also involve positioning, aligning, or adjusting workpieces to facilitate assembly, cleaning parts with solutions, air hoses, and cloths, and packing finished parts for shipment. Additionally, you will examine products to verify quality, including conducting Bonnet to Body Testing and ECL tests, resolving quality issues, and reworking parts as necessary.

Work Environment

This role involves working in a standard production and warehouse environment that is highly safety-oriented with clear SOPs. The facility is clean, well-lit, and climate-controlled. Employees are required to wear steel-toed shoes, safety vests, safety glasses, and ear plugs, all provided by the company. Jewelry, including wedding bands, is not permitted, and shoulder-length hair must be tied back. Orientations are held every Monday and Wednesday from 7:30am to 11:00am, with shifts starting the next day after orientation. The first shift runs from 6:30am to 4:00pm, and the second shift from 4:00pm to 12:30am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Conover, North Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.50/hr.
