Pay: Based on experience starting at $20.86/hour+ and $2/hour shift differentialThis site manufactures chocolate and peanut M&Ms (this is a PEANUT facility)Training is availableShift Schedule:
3rd Shift
Shift Pattern: 2-2-3 Schedule
Shift Hours: 6:30pm- 7am (Night Shift)
Job Purpose:
The Production Assistant is responsible for operating and overseeing a designated set of machines, equipment, and/or processes within the manufacturing facility.

Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or GEDMechanical aptitude and/or willing to train in manufacturing equipmentProficient in computer and iPad software, including Microsoft Office and email applicationsPhysical Requirements:
Can perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs)Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping.Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment, and operate in confined spaces.Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods, with shifts lasting 12 hoursCapable of working in hot, cold and wet conditionsProficient in understanding, communicating, reading, and writing in English.Preferred Qualifications:
Technical degree or certification1+ year hands-on experience in the manufacturing industryMechanical or technical trainingForklift operating experienceWhat will be your key responsibilities?
Responsible for the performance and safety of machines, processes and personnel, within the plantStart up, shut down, monitor, clean, and perform basic changeovers on equipmentConduct minor repairs, routine checks, inspections and escalating issuesOperate basic ancillary equipment and utilize relevant computer programsPerform any ad hoc tasks as requiredTotal Rewards
