Job Description

Contribute to and execute essential processes while developing people, ensuring quality, and monitoring capacity and schedules. Prioritize safety and maintain responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all team deliverables. Implement Lean concepts to enhance productivity and quality, working closely with the manufacturing engineering group to improve safety, ergonomics, and parts flow.

Responsibilities

Organize stakeholders upstream and downstream of direct reports to accomplish goalsMaintain continuous accountability of people, equipment, and toolsUtilize problem-solving skills, teamwork, and leadership to overcome obstaclesDemonstrate flexibility, introspection, and resilience in the face of routine challengesConduct regular planning for capacity and resource allocationEvaluate work performance by conducting performance reviews and identifying skills and knowledge gaps in team membersCoach team members to close skills and knowledge gapsWork collaboratively with Supervisors, Leads, and Managers to increase productivity and ensure qualityLead operational, safety, and equipment training for team membersCommunicate updates to stakeholders and other departments as neededManage floor-level day-to-day staff, including setting staffing schedules and performance management responsibilities

Essential Skills

At least two years of experience in a manufacturing environmentAt least one year of previous supervisory experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)Strong verbal and written communication skillsPositive attitude, strong sense of urgency, and attention to detail

Additional Skills & Qualifications

A High School Diploma or GED EquivalentAdvanced electrical and mechanical aptitudeExperience with fabrication/mechanical assembly in a production environmentExperience with Lean/5S conceptsExperience with an ORACLE operating system

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $105000.00/yr.
