Job Title: Production AssemblerJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated Production Assembler to join our dynamic team on the production floor. You will be responsible for assembling wire harness and cable assemblies, as well as attaching electronic components onto plastic pieces. Your role will involve reading work orders, following production drawings, and aligning parts for assembly. You will work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

ResponsibilitiesAssemble wire harness and cable assemblies.Attach electronic components onto plastic pieces.Read work orders and follow production drawings to assemble products.Position and align parts to each other.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsExperience in kitting, cable assembly, and crimping.Proficiency in production assembly and soldering.Ability to read blueprints and perform electrical assembly.Experience with using power tools and wiring.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in electronic assembly is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a clean, lean manufacturing environment split into two departments. You will be part of the Harting Cable Solutions (HCS) department. The workspace is clean, climate-controlled, well-lit, and organized, providing each employee with their own station or rotating stations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
