Job Title: Production Assembler

Job Description

Join our team as a Production Assembler, where you will play a crucial role in assembling hand-made products before they are sent out to customers. You will work at your station using hand tools, power tools, and other instruments as needed. This position requires standing for 8-10 hours and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Perform repeated assemblies on handmade products.Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other instruments for assembly.Stand for extended periods (8-10 hours) during shifts.Consistently lift weights ranging from 35-50 lbs.Follow work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Essential Skills

Experience in manufacturing using hand and power tools.Proficiency in assembly, general labor, and mechanical tasks.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Familiarity with machine operation and industrial production.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Attention to detail.Willingness to learn and train for new positions.Comfort with the Lean Manufacturing process.

Work Environment

You will work in a manufacturing setting alongside 50-60 people on the first shift. The job involves handling metal parts, including cast iron, and requires steel-toed shoes and long pants. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday, from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm.

This is a Contract position based out of Gorham, ME.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
