Job Description

Join our team in building custom commercial rooftop units and chiller units for data centers. This role involves using various hand and power tools, assisting with tasks like sweeping, shrink wrapping, and cleaning up to ensure smooth operations in the shop. As you progress, you will have opportunities to expand into other areas.

Responsibilities

Assemble custom HVAC units and chiller units using hand and power tools.Assist with general shop maintenance, including sweeping and cleaning.Shrink wrap and pack units for shipment.Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and efficient work environment.

Essential Skills

1-2 years of manufacturing experience.Experience with hand and power tools.Ability to read blueprints and schematics.Familiarity with HVAC sheet metal and mechanical assembly.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in the HVAC manufacturing industry or with sheet metal is preferred.A positive attitude and willingness to learn.Ability to work effectively in a team and execute a high-five.

Work Environment

Work in a large, climate-controlled warehouse with windows and high ceilings. The facility is equipped with machines and assembly areas, creating a productive environment. The team is small and close-knit, fostering a family-like atmosphere. Enjoy casual dress code with steel toe boots, and take breaks in a well-stocked canteen. The first shift operates Monday through Thursday from 5:30am to 3pm, and Friday from 5:30am to 10am, with a 20-minute lunch and two paid 10-minute breaks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Maple Grove, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
