Job Title: Production Assembler

Job Description

Join a dynamic team manufacturing medical devices where you will be integral in completing production orders. As a production assembler, you will work collaboratively at various stations, gaining comprehensive training over 2-3 months to master 12 different stations. This role involves assembling units using small hand tools while following written English instructions, in a fast-paced environment. You will also occasionally work in a cleanroom setting, adhering to strict cleanliness protocols.

Work Environment

Work in a clean and diverse environment where pride in product quality and teamwork is emphasized. Casual dress code is observed, but specific cleanroom protocols prohibit cosmetics and jewelry. The team consists of around 60 people, working on a Monday to Friday AM or PM shift. Note that eating, drinking, and personal devices are not permitted on the production line.

Responsibilities

Work with a team to complete production orders on a fast-paced assembly line.Become proficient in 12 stations over a 2-3 month period.Follow written English instructions to assemble units using small hand tools.Maintain production flow by working efficiently to prevent bottlenecks.Participate in cleanroom tasks, such as labeling and packaging, on a rotating schedule.Stand for the entire shift while working in the cleanroom.

Essential Skills

Valid visa for at least 2 years from the date of hire.1 year of experience in a fast-paced production line.Comfortable with a 1-year contract.Proficiency in using small hand tools (crimpers, screwdrivers, tweezers).Ability to work with small pieces and stand for the entire shift.Capability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally.Basic computer skills.Strong English communication skills, both verbal and reading.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Soldering experience.PCB assembly experience in a regulated environment.Ability to read soldering instructions and match numbers to wires.Good attitude and quick learning ability with high attention to detail.
