**Production Assembler** Shift: Monday to Friday 6:30am-3pm OR 3:15pm-11:45pm Pay Rate: $21/hr Location: Abbotsford, BC ***You must have reliable transportation*** Job Description Join a leading global manufacturer, renowned for producing high-quality pressure washers, air compressors, power generators, and water pumps, serving industrial markets in over 30 countries. We are seeking motivated individuals to join our assembly department. Responsibilities + Work on a production line, using both hand and power tools to complete sub-assembly and assembly of components. + Utilize hand tools such as wrenches, hex keys, sockets, pliers, and screwdrivers, as well as power tools like impact drivers, drills, and pneumatic tools. + Operate measuring and marking tools including tape measures, calipers, or micrometers. + Work with workstations and machinery such as workbenches with mounted tool holders, scissor lift tables, and conveyor systems for material handling. + Read and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). + Prepare equipment by detailing, cleaning, and lubricating, as well as aligning belts. + Conduct testing and quality control of assembled units. + Maintain a clean and organized work area. + Physically lift up to 50lbs as required. Essential Skills + At least 6 months experience in a production or repetitive work environment. + Experience with hand and power tools. + Ability to lift up to 50lbs. + Reliability and punctuality. + Steel-toed boots. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Wiring experience is advantageous. + Forklift experience, particularly with narrow aisle forklifts, is a bonus. + Strong communication skills and the ability to ask questions when uncertain. + Initiative, drive, and a self-starting attitude. + Problem-solving skills and the ability to think on one's feet. + Willingness to assist with various tasks as needed.
