In this role, you will perform repeated assemblies on handcrafted products before they are sent out to customers. You will be working at your station using hand tools, power tools, and other instruments as needed. This position requires standing for 8-10 hours and lifting up to 50 lbs. Ideal candidates have previous experience in manufacturing using hand and power tools. Essential Skills + Experience with assembly and general labor. + Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools. + Mechanical skills and understanding of blueprints. + Ability to perform mechanical assembly and machine operation. + Capable of working with industrial materials. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with lean manufacturing processes. + Ability to work 8-10 hours on feet. + Ability to lift 35-50 lbs consistently. + Attention to detail and adherence to instructions. + Willingness to learn and grow within the company. Work Environment Work in a dynamic manufacturing setting with approximately 50-60 colleagues on the first shift. The role involves working with metal parts and cast iron, requiring the use of steel-toed shoes and long pants for safety. The working hours are from 6 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Gorham, Maine. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
