Job Description

Join a global leader in the manufacturing of electronic components and subsystems focused on communications and defense markets. You will be part of a team developing innovative and reliable technology solutions for commercial and military applications.

ResponsibilitiesRead work orders, CAD prints or blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, assembly and schematic drawings, and receive verbal instructions regarding work assignments.Build cables, boards, assemblies, and boxes for microwave electronics.Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners.Build crimp and solder form cables.Utilize a variety of small hand tools to perform job duties, including, but not limited to, wrenches, screwdrivers, nut drivers, wire strippers, wire cutters, hand drills, wire crimpers, hammers, and punches.Utilize soldering irons to solder cables, wires, and other items.Attach hardware and seals assemblies.Examine parts for defects and replace defective components and wiring.Complete appropriate paperwork and computer transactions necessary to finish work assignments.Essential SkillsProficiency in computer skills with Microsoft Office tools and general knowledge of MRP systems.Previous manufacturing experience, assembly (electrical or mechanical), mechanical aptitude, or production experience.Attention to detail.Self-starter.General organizational skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in shipping and receiving, data entry, and packing orders.Schedule coordination and familiarity with bills of lading.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

You will work in a clean, climate-controlled, and well-lit environment with your own workstation. The facility is organized and quiet, ensuring a calm workspace. The shift options include 1st Shift (7:00am - 3:30pm) and 2nd Shift (3:00pm - 11:30pm), with training on 1st Shift until comfortable. Employees have the option to take a 30-minute unpaid lunch or leave 30 minutes early.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of State College, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
