**Job Title: Production Assembler** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Production Assembler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will efficiently assemble electrical and mechanical parts into finished products, utilizing a variety of tools and assembly process equipment. This role involves interpreting assembly prints, bills of materials, and engineering change orders, as well as conducting electronic testing on final assemblies. **Responsibilities** + Interpret and understand assembly prints, bills of materials, and engineering change orders. + Assemble electrical and mechanical parts into finished products using different types of tools and assembly process equipment. + Frequently use screwdrivers, torque wrenches, and hand soldering tools. + Apply knowledge of a variety of adhesives and chemicals used in the assembly process. + Utilize computer workstations for record-keeping and testing purposes. + Perform electronic testing on final assemblies using various test equipment. + Conduct quality control inspection functions. + Demonstrate adaptability towards a variety of manufacturing processes and technologies. + Lift up to 40 pounds consistently. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency with hand tools, soldering, small screwdrivers, and torque wrenches. + Ability to follow work instructions, read blueprints and schematics. + Experience with PCB or small part assembly. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Diploma in a relevant field is highly preferred. + Certification in IPC/J-STD is highly desirable. **Why Work Here?** We offer competitive pay with potential for a pay raise upon hire and annual merit increases. Employees are provided with smocks and safety glasses, although safety toe shoes must be supplied by the employee. The production area is large, supporting various lines, and employees may be cross-trained for different departments. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
