**Job Title: Production Assembler**
Pay Rate- $20/hr to $24/hr
**Job Description**
The assembler will assist in the fabrication, curing, build-up, and assembly of various types of composite materials. The role involves working with blueprints, templates, sample parts, process sheets, and other authorized information. Methods and sequences are predetermined, and tooling is provided.
**Responsibilities**
+ Prepare work by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gather parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
+ Position parts and subassemblies using templates or reading measurements.
+ Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit and fastening parts and subassemblies.
+ Verify specifications by measuring completed components.
+ Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications and notify the supervisor for additional resources.
+ Perform cleaning operations on parts and maintain components for the assembly shop.
+ Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
+ Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
+ Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
+ Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions to accurately assemble equipment and products.
+ Utilize handheld tools, such as a handheld screw, and maintain inventory of products in workstations.
+ Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards and perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
+ Maintain a clean and safe work area and be aware of FOD & Tool control at all times.
+ Continuously demonstrate 5S Application and participate in internal training as needed.
**Essential Skills**
+ Mechanical assembly experience is preferred.
+ Ability to verbally communicate, read, and comprehend written and verbal instructions in English.
+ Basic reading skills and ability to follow directions.
+ Basic computer navigation and utilization skills.
+ Effective communication skills with coworkers and management.
+ Organization, flexibility, and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
+ Skill in interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
+ Experience with hand and power tools, especially hand drills.
+ Ability to perform simple measurements.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Mechanical aptitude and experience in automotive repair, tools, production, automotive, lube technician, lamination, molding, and labeling.
+ Familiarity with power tools and general labor tasks.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vista, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
